Open Calendar and press Create automated webinar, the third of the three buttons under the month grid. The window that opens is headed Automated webinar settings, and at first only the General tab is available. Every other tab is greyed out and the Done button is missing, because the left column is waiting for you to select a video. Pick the recording that will play and the rest of the form unlocks.
From there you set the dates, and the event runs itself at every slot with nobody present. Even the free Starter plan allows one automated webinar a day, so you can try the whole thing before paying. Planning an automated webinar walks the entire form.
Evergreen is our own word for what an automated webinar does, so you build one the same way, with Create automated webinar and a recording. What turns a replay into something that feels evergreen is what you add on top of the video.
You can script the chat in advance so messages appear at the moments you choose, and add virtual attendees so the room does not look deserted to somebody who arrives early. If you have already run the session live, you can reuse the real chat from that event instead of writing one, which is the quickest way to make a recording behave like a room. Set the dates it should repeat on and the same session keeps working for as long as the content stays true. The automated webinar form covers the chat scripting and the virtual attendees.
