Best webinar platforms for small business, compared on what a year costs
This page is for a business where a few people run webinars alongside their other work, for audiences of twenty to a hundred, on a budget counted in tens of euros a month. Eight platforms are on it, ours included. There is no ranking, because the cheapest and simplest choice depends on how often you go live and how many of you host.
The figures come from each company's own pricing page. Most were checked on 1 September 2026 for our comparisons of these platforms, and the plans in the cost table below were read again on 4 October 2026, together with Demio, which is new here. Prices are shown as published, before VAT, in euros where the company publishes euros and in US dollars for Demio, GoTo Webinar and WebinarJam. Prices move, so treat all of it as a snapshot.
We are MyOwnConference, so read this with that in mind. Every platform gets a paragraph on where it suits a small business better than we do, and the table of situations sends you elsewhere more often than it sends you here.
What a year of weekly webinars for 50 people costs
A common pattern for a small business is one webinar a week for the same kind of audience, say 50 people. Here is the cheapest plan on each platform that holds them, and what a year of it costs at the yearly price.
| Platform | The plan that holds 50 | Price | A year, billed yearly | What that plan limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MyOwn | 60 attendees | €33 a month, or €26.40 billed yearly | €316.80 | No cap on live length in a permanent room, 10 hours of recording, automated webinars included, 6 speakers |
| ClickMeeting | Live, 50 attendees | €41 a month, or €31.92 billed yearly | €383.04 | Recording up to 6 hours, and automated webinars only on Automated at €42 billed yearly |
| Demio | Starter, 50 attendees | $63 a month, or $45 billed yearly | $540 | One host, sessions up to 3 hours, no automated webinars and no branding of the room and emails |
| GoTo Webinar | Reach, 500 participants | $69 a month, or $59 billed yearly | $708 | One organiser seat, with cloud recording and breakout rooms from Elevate, which is priced on request |
| Livestorm | Pro, a pack of 4,000 attendee credits | Credits come in yearly packs, €2.00 each at this size | €8,000 | 50 people a week use 2,600 credits, just over the 2,500 pack at €5,375, and sessions run up to 4 hours |
| LiveWebinar | Basic, 50 attendees | €44 a month, or €35.25 billed yearly | €423 | Sessions up to 6 hours, 1 hour of recording, automated webinars from Plus |
| WebinarJam | Starter, 100 attendees | $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly | $468 | One host, sessions up to 1 hour |
| Zoom Webinars | Webinars, 300 attendees | €82 a month, or €61.33 billed yearly | €895.92 with Workplace Pro | The webinar licence needs a paid Workplace Pro licence, €13.33 a month billed yearly, which the year includes |
Three things sit under that table. It assumes all 50 people arrive every week, which matters only for Livestorm, because it bills the people who come rather than the seats. If 25 come on average, they use 1,300 credits, which fit the 1,500 pack at €3,450 a year. The yearly figures are the yearly price times twelve, before VAT. And the dollar rows are not converted, so put them on your own exchange rate before you compare.
The room size matters at both ends. Below 50 people our plans start at 20 attendees for €22 a month, or €17.60 billed yearly. LiveWebinar starts at 25 and the others at 50 or more, apart from Livestorm, whose smallest pack is 400 credits a year for €1,000. Above 50, Demio's Starter plan stops, and the next step is Growth from 150 attendees at $80 a month for each host, billed yearly. ClickMeeting's Live plan for 100 is €58 a month billed yearly. Here 100 attendees cost €49.50 a month, or €39.60 billed yearly, and on the day a presenter can add another 100 seats for that webinar from inside the running room for €18.
Once a quarter instead of every week
Plenty of small businesses go live a few times a year rather than every week, for a launch, an open day or a seasonal offer. A day here covers that without a subscription, from €11 for 20 attendees and €22 for 60, and it ends on its own. Four of them a year for 60 people come to €88. The day plan leaves out OBS, a shareable link to the recording, your own domain, paid webinars and the Telegram bot, as our plan guide lists.
Elsewhere the same four events mean a month of a plan each time, opened and closed again, or a subscription kept running between them. On the prices above, four separate months come to €164 on ClickMeeting Live, €176 on LiveWebinar Basic, $196 on WebinarJam Starter, $252 on Demio Starter and $276 on GoTo Reach. Livestorm sells no pack smaller than 400 credits, so 200 attendees a year still cost €1,000. Zoom does sell a one-month webinar plan, €82 for 300 attendees, though it still sits on the paid Workplace Pro licence.

| If this is you | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You want to see one working this week, for nothing | MyOwnConference or LiveWebinar | Both free plans hold 5 attendees and ask for no card. Ours never expires and records 20 minutes with a watermark, and it is meant for non-commercial use. LiveWebinar's caps a session at 30 minutes and records nothing. |
| A full rehearsal with a real audience before you pay | ClickMeeting | Their 14 day trial holds 25 attendees and asks for no card. Demio's trial holds 20 for one hour sessions, and WebinarJam sells 14 days of a 500 seat room for $1. Our free plan holds 5. |
| One webinar a week for the same customers | MyOwn | 60 seats cost €26.40 a month billed yearly with automated webinars included, the lowest yearly figure in the cost table. ClickMeeting Live comes next at €31.92 for 50. |
| A few events a year, without a subscription | MyOwn | A day from €11 for 20 attendees and €22 for 60, which ends on its own. Zoom sells a one-month plan, and the rest sell months, years or credit packs. |
| The webinar exists to sell | WebinarJam | Offers shown live, split testing on registration pages and email and SMS reminders, from $39 a month billed yearly for 100. We have call to action banners and landing pages, not the whole kit. |
| Your CRM or email tool expects a ready connector | ClickMeeting | More than 4,000 integrations, with HubSpot, Pipedrive and GetResponse among them. We offer a public API instead. |
| Certificates for customer or partner training | ClickMeeting | Certificates of attendance come with Automated, €42 a month billed yearly for 50. GoTo puts certified training in Complete, which is priced on request. We issue none. |
| Workshops that split into small groups | ClickMeeting | Breakout rooms on every plan, the trial included. LiveWebinar sells them as an add-on and GoTo includes them from Elevate. We have none. |
| Three of you take turns hosting | MyOwnConference or Livestorm | Both let colleagues in at no charge, and here each one gets permissions by area. Demio's Starter, GoTo's Reach and WebinarJam's Starter have one host each, Zoom wants a Workplace Pro licence for every host, and ClickMeeting Live includes 3 extra logins. |
| Clients in the EU ask where their data is kept | MyOwn | Our servers are in the EU with nothing to configure, and video can reach attendees through global CDNs (Cloudflare, Bunny.net and Amazon CloudFront). Livestorm keeps its data in Ireland on every plan. ClickMeeting is a European company but names no data region on its pricing page, and Demio, GoTo, LiveWebinar, WebinarJam and Zoom name none either. |
| More people sign up than you planned for | MyOwn | A presenter adds another 100 seats for €18 from inside the running room, as often as needed, on every plan including the free one. Livestorm admits nobody new once the credits are gone, and Demio's Starter room holds 50. |
| Sessions that run past three hours | MyOwnConference, ClickMeeting or Zoom | We put no cap on a permanent room, ClickMeeting caps the recording rather than the broadcast, and Zoom allows 30 hours. WebinarJam's Starter stops at 1 hour, Demio's Starter at 3 and Livestorm's Pro at 4. |
| AI summaries or live transcription | Zoom or ClickMeeting | Zoom's standard webinar licence includes AI summaries, and ClickMeeting offers live and AI transcription. We have no AI features at all, by choice. |
| Nobody on the team may install anything | ClickMeeting or LiveWebinar | Both indicate that screen sharing needs no installation. Our presenters install a small program for it, for Windows or macOS. |

What shows up after the price tag
Hosts. Several platforms charge for each person who runs a webinar. Demio prices Growth and Premium per host and gives Starter one. Zoom puts each webinar licence on top of a paid Workplace Pro licence. GoTo's Reach has one organiser seat and WebinarJam's Starter one host. Livestorm and we let colleagues in for nothing.
Session length. The cheapest plan is often the shortest. WebinarJam's Starter stops a session at 1 hour, Demio's Starter at 3, Livestorm's Pro at 4 and LiveWebinar's Basic at 6. Their higher plans go further, up to 4 hours on WebinarJam's Enterprise, 10 on Demio's Premium, 12 on Livestorm's Enterprise and 12 or more on LiveWebinar's Premium, at the price of those plans.
Automation. Running a recorded webinar on a schedule sits on a dearer plan at ClickMeeting, where Automated costs €10.08 a month more than Live billed yearly, at Demio, from Growth, and at LiveWebinar, from Plus. WebinarJam bundles its EverWebinar product from the Basic plan up. Here automated webinars are on every plan, one a day on the free one.
Renewals. ClickMeeting's pricing page says its plans are charged up front each month or year until you cancel, and Demio deactivates a cancelled account at the end of the billing period. We never charge a card automatically, so a paid plan that ends simply returns the account to the free one.
The eight platforms for a small business
ClickMeeting
The closest to us in shape, European and priced by room size, and the platform a small business is most likely to weigh against us.
They are better in five places. Their trial holds 25 attendees for 14 days without a card, a fuller rehearsal than our free plan of 5. Nobody installs anything, screen sharing included. Breakout rooms come on every plan and certificates with Automated. More than 4,000 integrations are ready to switch on. And their chat support answers in English, German, Spanish, French, Russian and Polish.
We are better in three. A room for 60 costs €26.40 a month billed yearly here against €31.92 for their 50, and automated webinars are in that price, where they need Automated at €42. A day costs €22 for 60 people with no subscription behind it. And we never charge a card automatically.

Demio
Demio sells straight to small businesses, and its Starter plan is built for exactly the room size this page is about.
They are better at a simple start. Starter runs live webinars for up to 50 people at $45 a month billed yearly, and Growth adds automated and on-demand webinars, custom branding and registration source tracking. Their 14 day trial runs the Growth features for 20 attendees. Premium connects to HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo out of the box.
We are better once a business grows a little. Starter has one host, stops a session at 3 hours, leaves out automated webinars and your own branding, and its room stops at 50. Growth starts at 150 attendees and is priced per host. Here colleagues host for free, branding and automation are on every plan, and a room grows by 100 seats from inside a running webinar.
We have not written a side by side comparison with Demio, so this section is the whole of it.
GoTo Webinar
The name an IT department already knows, now with a plan pitched at solopreneurs and small businesses.
They are better on reputation and on the trial. GoTo offers a free trial with no card, and Reach is a single published plan at $69 a month or $59 billed yearly for 500 participants. Breakout rooms, cloud recording and AI summaries arrive with Elevate.
We are better on fit. Reach has one organiser seat, the other two plans are priced on request, and for an audience of 50 the 500 seats of Reach are capacity a small business pays for and never fills. We publish every price, and colleagues cost nothing.

Livestorm
Livestorm bills the people who arrive rather than the seats you hold.
They are better when an audience is unpredictable, because a registrant who never shows up costs nothing. Team members are free, recording is unlimited on Pro, and their design is more polished than ours.
We are better for a small business that goes live regularly or rarely. Credits come in yearly packs from 400 at €1,000, so even an occasional webinar costs €1,000 a year, and a weekly one for 50 people runs to the 4,000 pack at €8,000. Sessions stop at 4 hours on Pro. A day here costs €22 for 60 people.

LiveWebinar
The other free plan on this page, with a menu of add-ons on top of the paid ones.
They are better at buying exactly what you need. Their free plan holds 5 attendees like ours, and Basic for 25 people is €24 a month billed yearly. Breakout rooms, closed captioning and other extras are sold one by one. Screen sharing needs no installation as far as their materials indicate.
We are better at 50 people. Basic for 50 is €35.25 a month billed yearly, with sessions capped at 6 hours and 1 hour of recording, and automated webinars need Plus, which raises the session to 12 hours. Their free plan stops a session at 30 minutes and records nothing, where ours records 20 minutes and puts no cap on a permanent room.
The full LiveWebinar comparison has the side by side table.
WebinarJam
Built for one job, selling from a webinar.
They are better at that job. Offers shown live, split testing on registration pages, email and SMS reminders and a page builder come in one box, from $39 a month billed yearly for 100 people. Basic adds EverWebinar for automated sessions, and $1 buys a 14 day trial of a 500 seat room.
We are better wherever the clock matters. Starter has one host and stops a session at 1 hour, Basic at $79 billed yearly raises that to 2, and their Enterprise plan reaches 4. We put no cap on a permanent room, and our plans start at 20 attendees.
The full WebinarJam comparison has the side by side table.
Zoom Webinars
The tool most of your customers already have open.
They are better at familiarity. Everyone knows how to join a Zoom link, the standard webinar licence includes AI summaries, a session can run 30 hours, and Zoom sells a one-month webinar plan as well as subscriptions.
We are better at small rooms. Their standard webinar licence starts at 300 attendees, €61.33 a month billed yearly, and sits on a paid Workplace Pro licence of €13.33 for each host. For an audience of 50 that is about €75 a month for seats you will not fill, against €26.40 here. Zoom has no free webinar tier at all.

MyOwnConference
Our own entry, written to the same rule as the other seven.
Where we lose for a small business, plainly. Our free plan holds 5 people, carries a watermark and is meant for non-commercial use, so a business running real webinars needs a paid month or a day. We have no breakout rooms, no certificates and no AI. We offer a public API rather than ready made connectors. Presenters install a small program to share a screen, for Windows or macOS. And our support works in chat, in English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.
What we hold to. Plans from 20 attendees at €22 a month, a day from €11, colleagues free with permissions by area, and automation, landing pages, branding and analytics on every plan. No cap on live length in a permanent room, another 100 seats for €18 from inside a running room, and no automatic charges.
What is not on this page, and why
Platforms we have not studied. EasyWebinar, WebinarNinja, BigMarker, Airmeet, WebinarGeek and Zoho Webinar also sell to small businesses. We have not read their pricing pages to the same standard, so they are not compared here.
Meetings apps. Zoom Meetings, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet can host a small webinar. They sit on a different shelf, which our roundup of video conferencing apps covers.
Review scores, testimonials and load tests. We publish none of our own, so we weigh nobody else's.
VAT and exchange rates. Every price is shown before VAT and in the currency the company publishes.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest webinar platform for a small business?
It depends on how often you go live. For a weekly webinar for 50 people, the lowest yearly figure in our table is ours at €316.80, with ClickMeeting Live next at €383.04. For a few events a year, a day here costs €22 for 60 people and ends on its own. If you only want to try a platform with up to five people, two free plans cost nothing, ours and LiveWebinar's.
Can a small business run webinars on a free plan?
You can try one. Ours holds 5 attendees, never expires and asks for no card, but it puts a watermark on the broadcast and the recording and is meant for non-commercial use. LiveWebinar's free plan holds 5 too, with 30 minute sessions and no recording. For webinars that win or serve customers, plan on a paid month or a day.
Do I need a webinar platform, or will a meetings app do?
For a call inside the company a meetings app is fine. Once people outside the company register, a webinar platform gives you registration pages, reminders, an audience that watches while presenters speak, and reports afterwards. Our roundup of video conferencing apps compares the meetings side.
How many hosts will I pay for?
Demio prices Growth and Premium per host and gives Starter one, Zoom puts every webinar licence on a paid Workplace Pro licence, GoTo's Reach has one organiser seat and WebinarJam's Starter one host. Livestorm and we charge nothing for colleagues, and here each one gets permissions by area.
What if more people register than my plan holds?
Here a presenter adds another 100 seats for €18 from inside the running room, as often as needed, and those seats last until the webinar ends. On Livestorm, once the credits are gone nobody new can join until you buy a bigger pack. Elsewhere it means moving to a bigger plan, which on Demio means Growth from 150 attendees.
