Will my payment card be automatically charged?
No. We never charge a card automatically, and your card details never reach us in the first place.
Every payment is made by hand by the account holder. You pay at the moment you decide to use a paid feature, and no charge is taken before or after that. Our user agreement puts the same rule in section 9.5, that you renew your plan yourself because the service uses no automatic payments, and it gives privacy as the reason.
What happens when a paid plan runs out
Nothing is charged. Open "Subscription" in your control panel and the two cards there tell the whole story. The paid one says when it expires, and the free one says when it activates, which is the same date.

So a plan that reaches its end date simply hands the account back to the free Starter plan. There is no renewal to cancel and no switch to turn off, because there is nothing running in the background to stop.
How paying actually works
The same screen carries the only three ways to spend money on us, which are "Extend plan" for more of the same, "Upgrade plan" for a bigger one and "Pay for one day" when a single event is all you need.

Each of them is a button you press. Every invoice you ever generate stays under "Billing history" on the same screen, ready to download. Nothing arrives on paper, because we do not print contracts or post invoices at all, which our paperless documents policy explains.
What we hold and what we never see
Your card details are never handled or stored by us. Payment runs through Paysera or PayPal, who take the card on their own systems and secure it there, which is why we can promise no automatic charging in the first place.
Two things do stay with us. If you pay as a company, we keep the company address and banking details needed to raise your invoice. If you pay by bank transfer, you fill those details in yourself behind "Company details" on the "Subscription" screen. Neither of those is a card, and neither of them lets anything be taken without you.
What Starter covers before you pay anything
Starter holds up to 5 attendees in the room and 2 speakers on camera at once, with 500 MB of storage for your files. You can run as many live webinars as you like, with 1 autowebinar a day, and recordings run up to 20 minutes and up to 1080p. Recordings can be downloaded, though sharing one by link needs a paid plan.
The free Starter plan is not a trial. It does not expire and it does not turn into a subscription, so there is no renewal date to keep an eye on. Our user agreement calls it everlasting in section 5.1. There is one date worth keeping, though, because a free account that nobody signs into for six months is deleted, which How long does a free account stay active? covers.
One thing to weigh before you decide it is enough. Starter is meant for non-commercial events, and it places our watermark on the live broadcast and on the recording. If your next event fits inside the limits and does not need to be unbranded, there is nothing to pay. Otherwise you move to a paid plan, and that can be a single day, a month or a year, whichever suits the event. Choosing a plan goes through the options.
Still stuck
If a charge does not match what this page describes, open the online chat and tell us the date and the amount you were charged.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to cancel before my paid plan ends?
There is nothing to cancel. A plan that reaches its end date simply hands the account back to the free Starter plan, so there is no renewal to stop and no switch to turn off, because nothing runs in the background. Open "Subscription" and the paid card tells you when it expires next to the free card telling you when it activates, which is the same date.
Where do I remove the card saved on my account?
There is no saved card to remove. Your card details are never handled or stored by us, because payment runs through Paysera or PayPal, who take the card on their own systems and secure it there. The only billing data that stays with us is a company address and banking details, and only if you pay as a company, which you fill in yourself behind "Company details" on the "Subscription" screen.
I only need the paid features for one event, must I buy a whole month?
No, "Pay for one day" covers a single event. It sits on the "Subscription" screen beside "Extend plan" for more of the same and "Upgrade plan" for a bigger one, and each of the three is a button you press. Choosing a plan goes through the options.
Does the free Starter plan expire if I never pay?
The plan does not expire and it does not turn into a subscription, so there is no renewal date to keep an eye on, and our user agreement calls it everlasting in section 5.1. The account is the part that carries a date, because a free account that nobody signs into for six months is deleted. How long does a free account stay active? covers that.
Does the free plan put a watermark on my webinar?
Yes, Starter places our watermark on the live broadcast and on the recording, and it is meant for non-commercial events. Its other limits are 5 attendees in the room, 2 speakers on camera at once, 500 MB of storage, 1 autowebinar a day and recordings up to 20 minutes at up to 1080p. If your event fits inside all of that and does not need to be unbranded, there is nothing to pay.
