Dan Daemon

Founder and software architect

Dan Daemon is the pen name of Dmytro Pereuda, the software architect who gathered the team in Kharkiv in 2003 and has been building this platform ever since. The name began as an engineer's joke and stayed as a statement of intent, because a daemon is the process that runs in the background and gets noticed only when it stops. That is the kind of software the team set out to write. He covers running a webinar end to end, from planning the agenda and rehearsing with speakers to holding attention once the broadcast starts, and screen sharing and the practical side of presenting come up again and again. What he writes about is tested inside MyOwnConference first, which is easy enough when you built it.
